COMMUNICATOR & A TECH BUFF
On a good Monday, I wear a size 46 suit to look like a serious publicist, ready to change the world, one jargon at a time! Whenever I am high on coffee, I speak without decorum to PHP and CSS codes – good thing it results in some cool websites. Rarely do I get paid for it though –methinks creativity is remarkably underrated in this century!
On a positive note, I am struggling with data visualization, AI, and big data concepts. BUT I can hold a camera at a proper angle and I know something to do with ‘subject, light, and composition’ – makes me a photographer and videographer. With ideas constantly flowing in my head, consider me a scriptwriter for films and documentaries. Yes, I can edit them too (I prefer Final Cut to Premiere Pro).
With below-average photoshop skills or literally rudimentary understanding of the entire adobe suite, I’ve crowned myself a pixel-perfect graphics designer! Try me!
Whenever I can’t get good sleep, I write humour for my own consumption – that means I write and read my own pieces, and laugh at them only to get inspiration to write more. However, I’ve never considered publishing them – because I have to maintain a corporate look under the hackneyed title “STRATEGIC PR & COMMUNICATION SPECIALIST” which is something I received the 2021 & 2019 Young PR Professional of the year awards. Eccentric, right? I know. Anyhoo, my name is William Dekker and I am (__) years old as of the time you are reading this.
